  • Not Socks More Like Slippers
    Verified Purchase

I anticipated cute socks, but they are slippers. They are way too thich to put on under your shoes unless you bought shoes 2-3 sizes too big!

  • I wouldn't exactly call them socks...
    Verified Purchase

I bought these as a gift for my mother, expecting nice, warm, fleece-lined SOCKS. These are more like house slippers. They are far too thick to wear like socks, meaning under shoes. They wouldn't be bad house slippers, if maybe they had non-slip material on the bottom. As they are, though, they are not usable as socks, and are too slippery on the bottom to be worn alone. They also have little plastic decorations sewn on them that do not show up in the pictures, which really cheapen the look of them. They are not exactly ugly, though, and they do seem to be well-made....they are just, well, weird. I am returning these and buying my mother something else.

  • Wool with fleece inside socks from Nepal
    Verified Purchase

I purchased these on-line for my adult daughter in Florida...we live in Arizona. She loved them. I thought they were a little bit expensive, however, they looked like something my daughter would love. The only other drawback to them is that they have to be washed in COLD or handwashed and NO DRYER...so you must be careful with them, however, I liked the idea that they are handmade by artisans in Nepal and a portion of the proceeds goes to them there...but for cozy, fleece-lined socks, these fit the bill.
