This is one of the best made leather items I have ever bought. It is pretty good sized as well. I highly recommend, just pay attention to the size listed. It holds a lot!

it was not what I thought a messenger bag really was and I imagine it would be too heavy when things are inside..I di not use it or even put things inside but,the weight empty would not work for my needs

I bought this as a gift for my son who is a Junior in High School as a replacement for the nylon messenger bag he now carries. The nylonbag does not match his more formal syle of dress so I thought this would be a nice upgrade. When it arrived, I unpacked it and showed it to my husband who immediately fell in love with it. Long story short, I wrapped it and put my husbands name on it. When he opened in on Christmas morning, my son almost died. He wanted it for his own--as I had suspected. Everyone who sees this bag wants to know where we got it. Looks like I will need to buy another one quickly as quantities appear to be limited. Buy this bag. It is that nice.

Not having a car and needing to walk everywhere, the perfect messenger bag is a must have. Although this bag is nothing short of amazing, the size is a bit odd for me to carry around as a messenger bag. It's perfect for throwing over one shoulder or as a backpack, though. Even the quality of the lining inside is like nothing I've ever seen. I wish I could KEEP IT! But I need a wider and thinner bag, otherwise I would keep it. PERFECT gift for a high school graduation gift for college students. This bag is one that will last a lifetime.
