Batik is a design method that has been employed for centuries and is handed down from generation to generation, usually from a father to son or mother to daughter. It is an extremely difficult art to master and sons and daughters start this work at an early age because it requires a great deal of practice and patience. Each batik sarong is a work of art and can take hours and sometimes days to create depending on the difficult of the design.

Woman's Sheer Sarong Got it for a young friend as a cover for bathing suit. She used it as a wrap over her skirts. Loved it. I also got her the purple one and she loves them. I think the black was pretty expensive though, just because it was black. Other colors were no so much.
