Haven't tried on the course yet but they feel good and fit well. Not sure I read about the "lace" tightening system but it's anew one on me. Twist to tighten and release. My only concern is when the lace breaks, I"m guessing it can't be replaced...

I recently bought another pair of Adidas golf shoes from Great Offer Stock and they fit fine so I suspect this new model is built shorter and narrower that the other pair even though this is a "13" so it should be longer than the other. Other than the fit, I liked the shoes but I cannot comfortably wear this pair of shoes. Sorry.

Shoe runs a bit small and a bit narrow. 2 seasons old
