nuLOOM Amethyst Oriental Vintage Viscose Persian Area Rug

I ordered this rug for my bedroom and was pleasantly surprised about how nice it was for the price. Beautiful vibrant colors and good quality. I’ve been using it for a year and it still looks no. There is little to no shedding and the color is still bright.

I LOVE this rug. I actually have the large room-sized area rug in my bedroom and 2 matching runner size rugs in my walk-through closet/dressing area. I bought these to protect my newly installed white wall-to-wall carpets. I've had these rugs for a few years and they've held up wonderfully. When first I got them, they were quite difficult to keep in place as the edges kept curling up and were a huge trip hazard. It took double-sided carpet tape from **** to keep the edges down. Bought this rug 5 years ago. The edges are all fraying and the corners are turning up. It has a distressed look which was cool, but now it is really distressed and I wish it would have lasted longer.

We've had this rug in a child room for 5 years now. The color is still vivid and it feels soft. We've had no issues with our two cats pulling threads out of it.

I ordered this rug for our living room. I needed to have a rug that had some purple in it as our original 1896 marble fireplace contains many shades of purple. This was exactly what I was looking for.

Use in my daughters bedroom. Well made and holds up against our pups who are always rolling on it. Not as much purple as the photo shows but I’m glad there is less.

Overall, I am in love with this rug. It is SO SO SO smooth and soft to the touch, and doesn't really give off the vibe of being flimsy. Out of paranoia I did purchase a pretty sturdy rug pad, and in combination it's performance has been stellar. It's near a litter box, so I vacuum it very regularly, and I have not noticed any shedding or deterioration despite the heavy traffic. The only "eh" thing worth mentioning is that it is not as purple or "amethyst" as some of the images make it out to be-- It definitely has sort of a grayish overcast, more or less depending on which way the fibers are brushed. It's still gorgeous and satisfied my aesthetic goals, so I'm still calling it a winner.

This rug is beautiful and exactly what I was looking for The plum/amethyst is muted and soft, and the faux worn in look makes it chic and not gaudy I would not recommend this for high traffic areas as after awhile the already short pile gets worn, but this is hard to see as it already comes a little distressed looking. I bought the area rug and runner and really love them.

SUCH an amazing rug! I totally love the subtle tones of grays and purples. I get lots of comments from people who visit. My furniture is dark brown and gray and it all comes together nicely!

Would definitely recommend this rug, only issue was slight curling of the edges when I first received but eventually laid flat. Purple color is very pretty.

Very cute rug. I love the purple colors. It isn’t very thick, so you may want to add a thick rug pad under if you prefer a thick or softer carpeting in a rug.

What a pretty rug! It was priced right for a quick basement makeover. Client did not want to spend too much since it is a kids' playroom that is shared with adults on game day.

This rug is understated. It is soft, great quality. The colors are a little more muted than pictured. I was happy with that. But if you are expecting brighter colors, you may be disappointed.
