The quality of these rugs for the price can't be beat. The nuLOOM Handmade Flatweave Chevron Cotton Area Rug was exactly as described and fit perfectly in our house. Definitely recommend.
I liked the pattern of this rug, although I can see why others thought it was a little dizzying to look at. However, only one day after receiving it, my daughter spilled water on it. The blue immediately bled into the white and left a circle where the water spilled. I returned it the next day.
I purchased this for $*** plus free shipping and would definitely recommend it. It arrived in 4 business days and it is lovely. I'm unsure how a rug gives someone a headache but maybe that person should get his/her eyes checked. I use this one in my condo/loft living room and it helps keep everything from sliding on the wood floors. I did put it over a rug pad and would definitely recommend this. Pro: soft fabric, colors are great, keeps sectional from separating, easy to clean and pickup/shake out Con: thin, arrived with one imperfection/snag
I was so excited to have this in my new blue and white dining room but the picture does not even come close to what the rug looks like. The picture makes the rug look more blue than white and I found it to be the opposite. The quality of the rug is not for a formal dining room. And, yes, it did hurt my eyes to look at the rug. Unless you have it covered up at least 50% with other decor, it could make your eyes go nuts just trying to look at the rug. I returned this rug because both the ends of the rug were frayed.
I purchased this rug for the living room in a beach house. The cotton composition is soft underfoot and is easy to clean. The chevron pattern adds visual interest. I am happy with my purchase. Great price!
This rug is a flatweave rug as stated. It has a busy, distinct chevron design without being overwhelming. It does need a rug pad or rug tape, something to keep it from slipping. The quality is good as stated and it looks great in my son's room at our cabin. I recommend this rug.
This is a cotton rug, so if you want something plush and soft-add a thick rug pad. I put this in my lake house dining room and I could not be happier. It is really cute and exactly what I was looking for.
i love these cotton area rugs. great color choices but you do need to have a rug pad. this rug is very thing and loose and will move without a rug pad
Thinner cotton rug. Great for layering!
This rug is very cute and comfortable with a thick pad under it. The busyness of the pattern made me dizzy until I got all of the furniture in it. This is the first cotton rug I ever purchased. I would not buy another cotton again. it was a pain trying to straighten is and get furniture organized on it. I like my wool rugs.
Classic blue and white area rug, beautiful 100% Cotton, superb quality, timeless, eye-pleasing geometric pattern, a pleasure to walk on, HIGHLY recommend
We purchased this rug for our living room. We have hardwood floors, grey walls, and white woodwork. The Chevron pattern is subtle, but gives extra character! A rug pad really helps keep the rug in place and looking nice. We love it! The only negative is that our kitty cats have caught their claws on a loop or two and it will need to be pulled through the underside of the rug to smooth the loop of yarn.
This will brighten a spot in your home, with a contemporary look. A great rug for a room with grey, cream, white, greyish beige, walls. it centers it and adds texture. I am a designer, keep everything neutral and add you color in art and throw pillows. things you can easily change.
I love the way this rug looks, but unfortunately the strings have been pulled loose in multiple places causing loops to stick out (this has been cause by my dog's nails and furniture being moved over top the rug). This is pretty noticeable because of the pattern. However I still love the rug and think it adds a nice color/texture to my room. In order to solve for the loops, I "give the rug a hair cut" every-once-in-a-while which creates gaps in the pattern which I actually think adds a cool aesthetic. I am considering sewing in different color strings in the gaps to add more color.
This rug is fantastic. Super soft, but not too thick - just perfect under our dinning room table. The chevron stripes design is very fresh and modern too.
Great rug to add some style to any room. I love that it is cotton so natural however, I would suggest a rug pad to add a little thickness and non-slip.
The edging is high quality and the cotton makes it feel cozy in my bedroom. I like the pattern because it is subtle enough to match almost everything but not as boring as a plain gray rug. You definitely need a rug pad though, it can move a lot without heavy furniture on it. Easy to spot clean too.
The pattern is lovely, but I wouldn't recommend this rug for a high traffic area. My small dog uses our living room rug as a stopping point when running around on our hardwood floors. I've only had the rug one week and there are already loops of fabric pulling out of the weave. I can't imagine what constant traffic would do to it! I'll be moving it to a less used area of my home. Also, if you are using it on hardwood floors, you must have a rug pad.
I put this area rug in a relatively dim area in my home and it instantly cheered up the room. Very easy to care for. Because the carpet is cotton, it will “give” a little. So far it has not been an issue. I have not had the snag issues that I think others have had.
I really wanted to love this rug. And I did as far as look, style, color, pattern, etc. BUT the thing that drew me to it, its just a cotton rug, was its downfall. This thing didnt hold it shape, it stretched out and was impossible to walk on, lay furniture on, etc. Since it's just cotton, it has no structure. I can't really think of a place this would work (for me) except hanging on a wall?!? But really, its sooo cute, I was really sad to have to throw this one away.
