A must have especially if you have pets! Keeping furniture on the rug doesn't always do the job. My little ones make a quick turn and move the rug unless I have this pad underneath. Keep them safe no matter how big.

I just received the rug pad yesterday and was excited to get it down as my rug was very slippery on our decking. As soon as I put the pad on the decking I knew it would be a problem because the pad slid around just as easily as the rug did. I purchased this rug based on both the listing description and the reviews. Unfortunately no review specifically mentioned how this pad would or wouldn't work on Trex decking. Don't buy it for that, it does not prevent slipping. Returning it cost 60% of what I paid for it so be careful.

Rug pad was as advertised and a good value. Kept our large patio rug from sliding around and seemed to hold up under the elements in a mostly uncovered area outside.

I purchased this for my outdoor carpet under the gazebo. I've never used a carpet pad for outdoor carpet so I'll see how it does. As I was unfolding it under the gazebo it definitely stayed where I placed it, there was no movement.

This non-slip rug pad doesn't work: the rug is exactly as slippery with or without the rug pad.
