I purchased this along with the desk and they are amazing. It is super stylish and fits a great deal of books, picture frames, etc. but not super bulky looking like most bookcases. It's of decent quality - light enough but not flimsy. Slightly confusing to put together only because the rods look the same.. but, they're not.

Like may of the other reviews, which we unfortunately read after we purchased and attempted to build this; the top shelf is 1" too small, and caused the entire upper portion to bend inward. Looks awful and this it too cumbersome to try to repackage to send back. A total waste of $150 and a half day trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Do not buy this product.

DO NOT PURCHASE THIS. Despite bending metal, I could not make this shelf unit fit together. Top shelf was too small.They sent a replacement shelf, but the frame is the same size as the previous one, so no improvement. Also the wood shelf sent as a replacement was the incorrect size for the frame. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS.

This product was used in a room for a child on long term chemo. It was perfect!

Easy to assemble, no issues at all. Ordered one for my daughters room, now ordering one for my other daughters room.

The bookshelf is very pretty once put together. However - it was a mess to assemble. My husband is very handy, and assembles most things easily. However, the top shelf that came with this did not fit the frame. He eventually drilled new holes and made it work, but unless someone has a garage full of tools, lots of experience building things, and a supply of patience, do not order this product.

If you can get this shelf assembled you're a genius! It makes no sense. The top shelf is shorter than all the other shelves. I cannot get it all back in the box to ship it back so I have everything assembled and left the top shelf off. Not happy at all.

I am not a project gal, so when I had to put this together on my own, I was a little concerned. It would help if the company would drill holes in the wooden panels because you use a lot of elbow grease to get the screws in. It took me about an hour total to put it together but now that it is done, I do really like it. Very modern with clean lines.

No hardware or assembly instructions were included. The company sent replacement hardware, and it was still missing the majority of the necessary screws. Additionally a few of the metal pieces were warped so that even the correct screws would not have helped. This was definitely not worth it.

Like the solid framing and shelves. Easy to assemble.

This bookshelf was literally impossible to put together. I can only assume that the pieces were marred in shipping. My coworkers and I spent a collective 4 hours attempting to put it together before we threw in the towel and sent it back. What a waste.

We didn't have a lot of room to work with and this bookshelf helps a bunch. Easy to assemble if you can look at pictures and figure it out. Sturdy. Ordered it on a weekend and got it within 4 business days. Nice.

Relatively easy to put together . . . and for the price it looks great. Be warned, the shelves are NOT real wood, but they still look good!

The top shelf was missing. A wrong size piece was in the box. Twice I contacted the company. They sent the wrong sizes two more times. They blew me off the third time. Don't waste your time or money.

This item is quality! Even though the boards are not 'real wood' they look like a very cool, distressed wood, and are sturdy. We're really pleased with this product and it assembled really easily!

You get what you pay for.
