Very durable heavy duty shelving. Bought this for my showroom to house sample books and I was worried that it wouldn't be strong enough. It is quite substantial. The wall tipping support was flimsy though, my husband had to improvise a better support so we don't risk anything falling over on customers. I'm sure it will stand the test of time.

Beautiful shelves unit. Only problem it came damaged. We considered sending it back but decided to repair it because it was cheaper than sending back and hassle wasn't worth it.

Very stylish bookshelves that make a nice statement piece in the room. Needs two people to put together, but easier than first thought it would be when the two huge boxes arrived!

I need help to put it together.

Just received this today and could not be happier. High quality, beautiful gray color. Easy to put together, less than 1 hour. Only suggestion would be to make one shelf finished on both sides, the under side of the upper shelf is visible and is not finished in the gray color. It shows, we will paint it and should be fine. Would highly recommend.

After receiving the bookcase the bottom base was damaged . Great Offer Stock promptly replaced it and once assembled looked fantastic !!

Arrived very quickly - I ordered the gray. Very easy to put together and fits beautiful in my living room. I made sure to attach it to the wall with latch provided as it is heavy and I wouldn't want a child to pull it over. Attaching the safety latch was super easy also. The unit is sturdy and attractive. Love it!

Beautiful very happy easy to assemble

This looks amazing in my office. Relatively simple to assemble, you definitely need 2 people and a drill! But the results are great and I love the color of the brown- it's similar to a light distressed oak. Definitely better than the price of RH.

The box that contained the shelves was in bag shape, inside and out. all of the screws were floating around inside the box, causing damage to the shelves. one of them has a very bad gouge. There is a screw missing. One of the 'feet" that should have been fastened to the bottom shelf was also floating around in the box causing damage. And two feet were missing completely. The instructions were not clear enough about how to arrange the metal brackets so that the top and bottom face the correct direction.

Great looking, high quality wood shelf bookcase. Bookcase ships in two large boxes, one containing the wood shelves weighing about 105 pounds and the other containing the 3 metal vertical brackets weighing about 25 pounds. Assembly is not very complicated, but does take a while since 40 bolts are needed to attach the shelves to the brackets.

We waited over a month for these bookshelves to come back in stock. We had looked at many other sets in both stores and online, wanting shelves that were open, spacious, useful for hold large numbers of books, and attractive. Actually bought a set from a store for our bedroom that were twice as expensive and not as nice. We waited for a month to find an empty day to construct the shelves; however, retrospectively we could have done these at any time. With a power screwdriver, took about 60 minutes for each. No broken shelves but the cornice on one was cracked along a seam; lightly pounded it back and looks fine. Assembly was easy; found it best to put them together "front down" and then lift it. Very solid and attractive. Very good value. Thinking about getting a third. Only wish that there was a mid height version available.
