This was exactly what I needed for my new apartment - a place to store all of my office essentials. It works very nicely and it looks great! However, the file storage is very cheaply put together, I don't have a lot of files, so it works for me. The cubes are a throwaway - no-one could sit on them, but I am using them as footstools, and they work great! The tray just barely fits on the ledges... if you move it at all, it falls in. You have to add the legs to the bottom - which is not a problem, but there are no pre-drilled holes or marks, so you will probably end up with the screws coming through the bottom of the storage area, like I did! It's not an expensive piece, and I don't regret buying it - but it borders on not being worth the money.
