Great set All three pieces are very sturdy. I work from home and have owned this set for over a year at least. I have had no issues placing heavy items on there without the concern of it falling appart. One of the bookshelves I left out the shelf second from the top to accommodate some tall decor and the bookcase is still very stable. The wood has a heavy coating of some sort that resists scratches. I think you would really have to try to scratch it. It's attractive and looks just like the picture. You will need two people to put this together due to the heaftyness of the pieces. I had no issues putting it together.

Love the durability and stability of these pieces! I bought this package along with the entertainment stand for my home office. It only took me about three hours to put all four pieces of furniture together and I did it by myself. It was extremely easy to put together!! It looks amazing in my house.

Very nice looking purchased this for new home and put it together. Assembly did not take too long but some of the holes didn't seem to line up exactly, managed to make it work. also - it came with washers but the instructions were just pictures and never showed them being used. Delivery was quick

Very nice The desk is exceptionally nice and sturdy, I could probably dance on it. The bookcases are not as sturdy as I would like and they come with wall anchors, but they are also not ultra flimsy. All the pieces were easy to put together, but it is better to have two people for the bookshelves to keep from tweaking anything out of line. You almost definitely need two people to put the desk top on, but with some ingenuity you could get all three pieces together with just one person. All three pieces took maybe 30 minutes to put together with a drill on low and that included the unpacking (a lot of styrofoam to dispose of which you may want to take into account if you live in a pay and pitch city as I do). The look is exactly as pictured, but depending on where you put it and what you pair it with it looks more soft vs industrial. I really like the versatility, the pine smell, and warmness of the wood color. I would have given the set five stairs had the bookcases been a bit more substantial on their own.

Rustic 3 Piece Desk/Bookcase Set When I received the desk and 2 bookcases I could tell the quality of the products was going to be great due to the weight of the material. I knew it was going to be able to hold heavy items without resulting in a bow in the shelving due to the weight of the items. I have had the items for a couple months now and the shelving is holding up great with everything that I have on them! The items were also very easy to put together. I was able to do it by myself in a hour or two. I only had to have help flipping the desk over because of it's weight and the space I had available to flip it in. Overall I have been extremely satisfied with the items and would definitely recommend it.

Beautiful Desk & Bookcases BUT AWFUL SMELL My husband and I love the look and feel of the Trivecca Home Myra Industrial pieces. We purchased the desk and bookcases along with the end tables for our family room. It is exactly what we were looking for, however we were disappointed because the attachment screws on the bookcases and end tables strip easily. We are also concerned as all the pieces are off gassing a terrible smell that burns our eyes. We have been wiping it down with vodka and vinegar in hopes it gets better. I highly recommend the furniture if you have the time to off gas it in your garage or outside in the sun.
