This is my first enamel cast iron pan and I am very happy with it. I can't compare the quality to other brands, but this is definitely worth the price, which I believe is not the most expensive brand out there. I've made seafood stews and like that it's pretty enough to put right on the table.

Cleans so easily and cooks beautifully. I have the fancy brand also (L.C.) and this Lodge pan seems just as high quality for 1/4 the price. Pretty blue color. Excellent size for family meals. Heavy. . .don't buy if you think you'll have a problem lifting it. Otherwise, can't recommend highly enough!
