I used 60-watt dimmable LED Edison bulbs, and the Kichler looks great above our dining room table. I first tried regular 100 watt LED, soft white bulbs because I thought I wanted the option to have bright lighting, but the look was wrong for the style of the chandelier. The old-style yellow lighting looks more appropriate, even though our dining room is a mix of styles--sort of minimalist traditional with some modern touches. It's been up for a week, so I can't comment on longevity. We had an electrician install the fixture, but he had no complaints.
