I'm really enjoying the light fixture now that I finally got it installed.
As with many light fixtures, the "instruction" sheets were pretty lacking, and although the installation diagram showed screws to attach the included plate to the fixture box, those screws were not included in the box (fortunately I did have a couple on hand that I could use). There was a bit of difficulty getting the fixture mounted, but once it was mounted, putting in the bulbs and attaching the shade were no problem.
One other thing that I was slightly disappointed by was the bulb size called for in this fixture. The website description at the time of ordering specified 60 watt medium base bulbs, which I assumed to mean "standard" shaped light bulbs. However, there is a sticker on the fixture that shows that this actually means 60 watt *candelabra shaped* bulbs with a medium base. If you try to install standard bulbs, they will touch the insulation of the fixture and could potentially overheat/burn it if the bulbs get hot. Fortunately, the LED bulbs that I planned to use in the fixture are a bit smaller than standard bulbs and give a tiny bit of clearance, plus they shouldn't get nearly as hot as incandescent, so I still feel fine with using them in this fixture. But it's clear from the sticker that the manufacturer is trying to discourage the use of standard shaped bulbs because the fixture is so shallow.
Now that it's installed, I love the look of the light fixture in the basement rec room. The moon/star shapes on the shade are very simple and you can tell it's not an expensive fixture, but if you're going for unique/cute, this is terrific.
