love this for hardwood floors. trim when necessary.

I didn't want my rug popping off the floor too much so this pad gave just the right amount of thickness without looking funny from afar. It's just the right size for a 5'8 rug, no cutting was needed. Great deal too.

Wow, a really think rug pad that notably deadens the sound of walking around in my second floor apartment. I like it, the downstairs neighbors love it.

Just remember to put the soft, plushy side facing the floor with the smoother texture facing up to the rug. I had to do a quick search to make sure that's right.
