Retro School House 1-light Burnished Bronze Flush Mount

We purchased two of these, for either end of the main stairs. They are well-made and fit perfectly in our 1931 house.

As pictured. It works and looks great. I'd recommend it.

I was hoping that this light gave off more light but it went great for the hall I put it in. It was very era appropriate for the home I remodeled.

I LOVE this light. I had previously purchased some similar lights that were "flush mounted"--but this one is so much nicer since it hangs down a bit--it really makes a difference in the appearance and seems more expensive than it is.

The quality is perfectly fine for the price, but in real life the groove on the bottom of the glass part is not nearly so pronounced as it is in the picture. The bottom glass doesn't appear as rounded either. It's attractive enough, but I agree with another reviewer that it's slightly more 'diner' than 'schoolhouse'. We're debating on keeping it since true schoolhouse shapes are either much smaller for the price or much more expensive for the size and exact shape.

If you like the look of old time lighting, this light fits the bill. It puts out more light then you would think and it should, they used it in schools.

Bought 6 of them for my kitchen remodel. They look great, lots of light, great diner look.

I only gave this 3 stars because it's not super school house looking. It's in my laundry room so no biggie. For the price, it's pretty darn good.

This fixture met my expectations. It looks nice and was easy to install. No complaints about the product and Overstock's service and delivery went off without a hitch.
