Everyone loves these in my house, they are amazing with my transitional decor. My only issue is one shelf came damaged and I am in the process of getting a replacement part, but Great Offer Stock has been extremely helpful.

NOT 27 inches wide! Love the shelf. Took some time to put together and hoist up to where I wanted it. Then realized it was too wide for the space. Measured it- the shelves are just over 31 inches. The top is wider. I am trying to find another place in my house to use it. But upset that it was listed as 27 inches wide and I spent all that time putting it together for it to not fit in my space. Did contact and Great Offer Stock offered a return pickup (still lost the hour it took me to put together). I asked them to update the description here- hopefully they do!

Very nice! I got two of the gray colored shelves. They are well made ~ nice and solid ~ and make quite a statement with their large size. Open the box outside or in the garage when you put them together, unless you want your house to look like it snowed. The packaging material gets everywhere!! I think it took longer to unpack and clean up the mess than it did to actually put them together. Totally worth it, though... they are great. :)

Great Bookcase We ordered two of these and they look fantastic in our living room. Very similar to the cornice bookshelves I've been admiring at RH, but at a much more attractive price! It's black but not a jet black I would say it's a brushed black but honestly I don't notice it's color very much because the shelving is so nice, I have gotten lots of compliments I have the grey ones.

The metal is black. It is more of an iron/ matte black. The bookcase looks awesome and expensive. Absolutely recommend it. Just thought I would add that :)
