VERY NICE DRESSER ...BUT....THIS THING IS A *** TO PUT TOGETHER, IT TOOK ME A DAY, SOOOO MANY PARTS...A TIP: USE WOOD GLUE IN THE DOWELS...YOU WONT BE SORRY..I AM A FAN OF SOLID WOOD, THIS LOOKS VERY NICE...ONCE YOU GET IT TOGETHER...IT IS MOSTLY SOLID WOOD, A FEW PARTS ARE PRESSBOARD...WHICH I HATE..OVERALL IT LOOKS NICE...

Very good product. The only thing I don't like is that drawers move a little bit hard in my opinion.

I bought this chest to match the rest of the set I had already bought. Its pretty, but the drawers aren't drilled right so its a fight to close them. Very frustrating.

I originally saw this 3-4 months ago and it was out of stock. I asked to be notified when it was available. A couple months later they notified me that my notification time had expired. I asked to be notified again and within a couple weeks I received the notice that it was available. Previous reviews indicated that this took 3 + hours to put together and I can't disagree. But , the end result is well worth the time. I agree that some of the directions need careful scutiny, but taking your time is the key. I am a 68 year old lady and I am glad that the USPS brought the two very heavy boxes right onto my porch. With help I was able to get them into the house. As this is real wood, if the boxes have been in the cold, let them sit to warm up before trying to assemble. I put the main bureau together by myself in about 2 hours. Then my husband asked if he could help. We started assembling the drawers, 2 hours later, there was definately a problem. End advise, I don't touch his spatulas, he stays away from my phillip head screwdrivers. Love the bureau.

Great space saver for kids room has the TV on top games consoles under and draw space what more do you need for a teenager

The chest is perfect for our bedroom!! Our TV is on top and the other TV equipment is in the space below. The drawers slide out well and I store a ton of clothes and other things in there. I love it!!

it wasn't too hard for my husband to assemble. Very sturdy piece!

This was pretty easy to put together but only with a power drill. Don't go at it with a normal screwdriver. I didn't like the backing... I hate hammering in those kinds of things. The odor was pleasant and lasted a few months. I've not seen any staining on my clothes... at all, so I don't know what those posts are about. The two top drawers didn't align properly, when following the instructions... so there's that. The wood is super durable. No dings yet, with my rambunctious doggo.

This is a great buy. It looks great, time consuming to assemble, but worth it. I've received numerous complements on it.

Nice looking dresser, rather complicated to put together. Needs 2 people. Sturdy. One bad piece, and company ended up sending a whole new dresser.

Got this a few months ago. very solid heavy piece of furniture. drawers are deeper than I expected and have a lot of room. the color is just as pictured. It is not easy to put together, will take a couple hours. I would definitely buy this again AND RECOMMEND IT TO A FRIEND

Be prepared... Took me approximately 5-6 hours to put together, by myself with a power screwdriver, BUT well worth it. Value for the money was GREAT. Heavy, well made, beautiful, deep brown finish. LOVE this piece!!

Bought this to replace month old dresser drawer that I got from Great Offer Stock that was falling apart. Decided to spend a little more and got this chest. A little difficult to assemble, but the end product is a sturdy and beautiful dresser. Follow the instructions closely and look carefully at the pictures. I totally missed an image that had screws being placed along with other things going on at the same time. Took my time so I was not too far gone before realizing my mistake. Would have been easier if I had someone to help, but eventually got it done myself and it looks Great, the drawers are solid and Very Happy with it.

Quite upset - the picture looks like the unit is espresso or dark brown. Mine came completely black - looks very cheap like Ikea

As someone who has put together furniture from a flat-box before, I knew it was going to take a bit of labor. However, my first box didn't have the proper instructions or screws package. Customer service was as helpful as they could be, but in the end, they had to send me a completely new dresser, which comes in two large boxes. Once it got there, and 4 hours later, the piece was put together. Only, it wobbles and one of the drawers is off a smidgen and doesn't shut flush with the rest. Sigh. There was an error in us putting it together for this to happen, I'm sure, as all of the pieces looked great, well-made. But I'm too exhausted from the whole process of putting together half, getting a new and starting over again, to try to pull it a part and fix it. So, two weeks and $*** later, I have a dresser, but not a perfect one. Also, it's shorter than I was expecting... So, measure, hold up that measuring tape, because it's not a TALL chest of drawers, but about a foot shorter than I was picturing.

Putting this together was a slight challenge. First the directions could have been more detailed . The amount of different pieces : screws, bolts and dowels slowed me down. I had to sort then into sizes and type. once I began to put this unit together , the preparation made it easy. I glued the dowels in and built all the drawers at once, I'm happy with final product and the look of the unit.

I love this dresser. Somewhat difficult to put together but worth the cost. Customer service was excellent as ALWAYS!!!

This dresser was poorly crafted and lasted only 1 year before the bottoms fell out and the fronts fell off. Even after I used wood glue to strengthen the drawers the dresser still fell apart. I paid over $* for a piece that ended up in the dumpster.

I was happy with the quality of this dresser. It recommends 2 people put it together, I did it by myself, which is why it took a little longer. The frame uses cam locks and wooden dowels. I did use wood glue and the joints are very solid. Left it standing overnight so glue could soak in. Directions are good, only weakness is how to place the slides, took a little bit of thought! Took about 2 hours for the outside frame but I laid out every piece, checked everything with the directions, etc. so I am probably slower than someone else. Left the drawers for the second night, they turned out really easy and solidly put together. Probably 3 to 3.5 hours to assemble not counting the breaks. Recommended a screwdriver and hex wrench, I used power driver and it worked fine, much less physical labor! Had plenty of all the hardware, at least 1 of everything left over when I was done. Finish on the inside of some drawers shows signs it was not quite "dry" when packed, just an appearance issue, not really too bad. Boxes were packed very well, they are heavy, I needed someone to help me bring them in the house. Just enough packing material to keep everything safe, easy to unpack. I would highly recommend this chest, plan to put a TV on it in the guest room. left a drawer for guests and used the rest for linen storage.
