Don't bother getting this lamp I am usually a fan of what I have ordered. This is not the case. The lamp is too light for beside. Not sure how it is suppose to work because it shuts off for no reason. I gave up and will just give it away.

Modern Touch Lamp I like the lamp design but no low light, pretty bright light even at 1 touch. all together 3 steps of brightness. You cannot turn off unless you already on a 3rd touch. So to turn off you need to touch or click on it 4 times

beware of color The lamp itself is fine. Dark red base. The shades, not even close to red. They are just plain purple. Would have sent them back but too much trouble. Will just replace the shades.

Disappointed I have had touch lamps before and never had a problem with them and that was probably because they were much heavier. Despite the way it looks, this lamp is quite light. It constantly turns off or dims to another level by itself. I bought a black one and it's attractive but it's dysfunctional.

first total bust Color not red at all..more like purple-leaning burgundy. Touch on made lightbulb flicker once and nothing with two other and disimilar bulbs. Cheaper to dump than box and send back. All my prior purchases have been exceptional but maybe it was priced so low because others sent them back
