Takes a little skill...
I've been using this product now for over 8 years. I've noticed the new owners complain of getting cut/nicked. This will happen when you press as hard as you do when you shave your face. Let up on the pressure a little and let the razor do the work. You need to remember that the scalp is a little more delicate skin than your face. I'm not saying my head hasn't looked like I shaved with a serrated steak knife, but the reason was because I was in a rush and not concentrating on what I was doing. It's probably been a good 5-6 years since I've gashed my head. Yes, I've nicked it in that time, but it was my fault not the razor. Ladies, when you cut your legs/pits shaving, do you blame the razor or yourself because you weren't paying attention?
So you're best bet is to take your time while you learn your new tool. Practice makes perfect, everyone knows that. :-) Nobody likes a stubbly head.
