I am not a prepper. Having said that I do beleve that it is wise to have a bug-out emergency bag just in case you and your family are ever ordered to leave your home--e.g. flood. This bag has enough room for extras: I have a dog so I have a canine first aid bag, flea/tic/heartworm medication, food, treats extra water, pads, sweater/coat, toys, leach, muzzle. I also have a 5 gallon water bag, life straws plus medications/vitamins; also had enough room to add to the included first aid kit--dental emergency repair/pain relief, eye wash, ear ache relief, nose spray/cold & flu products, tissues. PLEASE consider purchasing a bug out bag for every member of your family including pets. Please remember to rotate (check shelf life) the extra products you put in your bag--e.g. medications. If you have a couple carabiners this bag can accomodate them for light items.
