FINALLY... A PERFECT Cotton Blanket! I am almost in shock! I have looked and looked and FINALLY found a "PERFECT" cotton blanket that does NOT leave lint balls all over it and your sheets, and has a tight enough weave that it does NOT pull when walked on by my 3 dogs! I washed it prior to using and there was just a little lint left in the dryer trap. I ordered it in the Ivory and have COME BACK TO ORDER both the Sage and the Camel. I sleep "hot" so a cotton blanket is the only kind I can sleep under! About 10 yrs. ago I found a cotton blanket that was not covered in lint balls when washed and had a weave tight enough that it did not snag. Unfortunately I only purchased one of them, and later could not find any like it. Since then I have been looking for and trying other cotton blankets, however, every one I have tried (at least 15) have left lint balls and/or pulled until I had to get rid of them! I am SOOOOO happy to have found this blanket! I will be donating all those horrible cotton blankets with pulls and lint balls, and will only be using this blanket! Worth it I bought this blanket in king size and in plum color. It's generous in size even after I washed it in warm water (the directions said to wash in cold water). I'm assuming that it shrank a bit, but there's still plenty of it (it generously hangs on the sides and the foot of the bed.) The blanket is a nice weight for all seasons and the chevron weave is a subtle nice touch for those who pair it with a patterned duvet cover/quilt/comforter. With the plum color, make sure that you wash it alone for the first few times. It's a saturated color and even though it doesn't lose its depth of color, the dark purple will bleed onto other 'reds'. It's very high quality even though it doesn't cost as much as other king size blankets. Worth every penny.

Best Blanket-EVER! Absolutely love this blanket. Dimensions are perfect (even for my king size bed). It's very durable and resists fabric pulls (even up against the claws of my 3 cats and 1 dog that share the bed w/me and my husband. Our bed is a queen and I ordered the king size blanket, which after a little shrinking in the wash, fits just right and hangs down enough on the sides so two people aren't fighting over the blanket. It seemed too big at first but I'm glad I got the king. Also, unlike the "luxe" blankets, this one doesn't slide off the bed.

I truthfully don't remember if the packaging on this blanket said "Luxor Treasures or "Superior". I unpacked it and immediately liked the design and weight of the blanket. I have washed it several times and it washes up beautifully with very little shrinkage. It also held it's color. If you are hesitating about buying this blanket.....don't! It is very good quality and I would order another of the same brand if the need arises.

Happy with it as it is all cotton and tight weave so it won't snag. My husband hates the thermal weave and plush blankets. Hard to find cotton. We have Ca King & it fits great with enough length to tuck in at bottom.

It is a great weight and plenty big enough to tuck in the bottom on CA King. The only thing was that the green is darker than one on website. More of olive green.

I just looked at the labels on the blankets I ordered and they do say Superior. I never would have realized the difference in the names if it hadn't been for your question!! I also thought I was buying Luxor Treasures. However, I have had the blankets for a few months and they are wonderful - light weight, cozy, attractive. They have kept their shape after washing. I would take the chance and keep them.

It is difficult for me to answer your question. I've been using mine on a twin size bed. I can say this much...I'm please with the comfort of these blankets. I do have a full size bed, and I have not placed it on it. I enjoy hanging out in my small room and watching my TV. However, if you have doubts, use a tape measure for your confirmation.

I have washed mine in warm, not hot water and bleach and had no problems with it. Have had mine a while and washed it several times and once with the bleach due to my 4 legged babies tracking mud in before I made the bed. I love this blanket's weight, not heavy yet perfect for seasons other than the dead of winter. Will mention that it does produce quite a bit of lint in the dryer but has not deteriorated the blankets weight or structure.

yes, this is a breathable lightweight blanket. (we live in the tropics) the weave is tighter than a sweater so it is not fuzzy and does not pill, but yes, it still can snag as can a sheet if abused....it is smooth on the bed and is stretchy enough to make the bed 'army style' but holds its shape and pattern. (I bought king size for a queen size bed so it tucks in tighter) it washes exceptionally well. I have sage and taupe and the colors are true. I've been very happy with these blankets.
