Read All Reviews for ISOLUS Down Alternative Fiberbed Mattress Topper

First let me add that I am someone who does a tremendous amount of research before I buy anything especially bedding. I am reviewing a Queen size on a Sealy Cocoon (soft). I ran into this product because I was already pleased with the 5 sided mattress protector, tencel sheets, and pillows that I purchased from Malouf (the brand of this product). I wanted to go with a down topper but was only willing to try down alternative with this brand since I was already familiar with it. This down alternative feels exactly like down. It is very plush yet the topper is sectioned so the fibers do not move. This prevents the fibers from moving to one side and leaving the other bare. Instead it is fluffed up everywhere you move to. It's extremely comfortable. It is surprisingly cooler than I expected, especially compared to a down topper. I can't speak to the durability of it since I've only had it for a month. However, the construction looked very durable. The 4 straps cling tightly to even my 10" mattress. I put my protector over it and the mattress. Even when touching the sides, it feels like it is just part of the mattress and not a separate piece. It does not slide around, it is very much attached to the mattress. You should definitely get this if you need a little extra softness to your mattress but don't want to overheat or spend too much for a down topper. I got it because I sleep on my stomach and my ribs and knees had too much pressure on them, this made my sleeping position much more comfortable. I will add this: the topper does not add more support to your mattress. Meaning, you will sink to the bottom of the topper and into your mattress. If you need more support, I would try another product. Hope this helps

The pad is fairly thick, but flattens out very quickly (one month) because the stuffing is cheap and doesn't hold up. It's only a temporary solution for a mattress that is too hard.

Wanted a topper with corner straps and the 3" down alternative; the quality for the price is exceptional.
