Ms. I had to pay a workman who installed my window over $50 to install this! Believe me, I read the instructions and attempted to install myself - not easy at all! Now, after a couple of years, it droops terribly...since I do not know how to tighten it and do not want to pay, again, to have it repaired, I accept the poorly engineered product.
