The chair had some minor scratches, but we kept it anyway. A couple of weeks later the bottom screws started to work themselves out, of course I didn't know until I realized the chair scratched our hardwood floor. I tightened the screws and stuck a glider pad over them to prevent this in the future. I've also had to wash the seat cover which shrunk considerable after just one wash in cold water. I'm sure it'll be destroyed by the baby in no time, so I'll have to find a replacement.
Read MoreVery unsafe, our eight month old fell out of this when the seat slid foreward and hit her head. I would not recommend this chair!
Read MoreBought this chair for both my grandchildren, converts to toddler chair very well and blends well with the rest of the furniture.
Read MoreWould not use as a step stool, takes up quite a bit of room, hard to clean with stripping, the canvas that covers the seat shrinks when you wash it. It's just ok, not great, would recommend with reservations.
Read MoreThe Badger Basket looks contemporary, just like in the picture. The strap from the chair to the Badger table only fits for the first level, when baby is the smallest. When you lower the seat as baby grows, the strap is too short to attach, so the baby has no protection from sliding out or twisting around. The table is not removable. I wish I hadn't bought this.
Read MoreWorks for someone without arthritis. Has to be taken apart to djust the seat and the plastic hooks are to difficult for me to unsnap.
Read MoreI bought this chair because my 2 year old refuses to sit in a booster or high chair anymore. Wants to be a big girl and sit in a big girl chair, but that means her nose is level with the table, and messes ensue.... This is perfect! She climbs up all on her own and sits at the same height as all of us. We don't use the tray table, but we have more babies coming from other family members, so I'll save it for them!
Read MorePoorly constructed; finish chipped off very quickly; poorly designed for a baby's body; difficult to get your child in and out. Would never recommend.
Read MoreVery nice and strong. I love the color. The top part it doesn't seam too practical because its not adjustable but i don't need it for my child so it doesn't affect me.
Read MoreMy sister LOVES this high chair great quality wood and held up well.
Read MoreThis highchair looks very nice but is very difficult to use. We use it for our granddaughter so it is not used as often as it would be in other households. The tray doesn't move which makes it hard to get her little legs under the tray without hurting her. The harness is a joke. It looks like it was an afterthought and is just too cumbersome to use. If we were ever going to leave her unattended in this chair we'd have to find another solution because we just don't use the belts. As mentioned by most reviews the cushion is covered in white duck canvass and easily soiled and not easily cleanable. In summary: Functionally this chair fails. Aesthetically it passes nicely. I also like the idea of it's use without the feeding tray as a booster seat later. Looking forward to that stage.
Read MoreI bought this for a 5 year old and a baby on the way. It's perfect for both, easy to put together and matches the dining room. Has plenty of stability for 5 year old.
Read MoreThis chair works well and looks pretty good in eat-in kitchens, etc. (as in, doesn't stick out like a sore thumb like most highchairs). It has served my little boy pretty well. The price is good, as well, since the same thing in other brands is double the price. The 4 star rating instead of 5 is because of the straps on the seat. They do not stay laced around the plastic buckle very well. I had to double loop them. This *could pose a dangerous situation for small children if it comes undone.
Read MoreWe bought two of them for our two kids and we could not have made a better investment. These high chairs are not only classy but very functional. They have stood up to the beating our kids have dished out over the last year and they still look great. I don't have any reason to believe that these chairs will not last for years while transforming as our kids grow. The are beautiful and functional...the removeable tray has been invaluable. Everyone that comes to our house and sees them asks where they can find them. Money well spent.
Read MoreI love this high chair. I still have it and plan to keep it as long as it lasts. My 2 1/2 year old has transitioned with it to just a chair.
Read MoreThe problem is that it is difficult to get the child in and out of the high chair as the tray does not move. My grandson is only eight months old, and the wooden bar that is under the tray is to close to the seat making it difficut to get into and out of the seat. The strap at the front of the seat is also hard to connect the straps to and unclip when removing the child. I would not reccommend because of this. I do not know how a larger baby would fit under that wooden piece.
Read MoreThe chair is used by everyone in the house, not just our baby girl. My 3 yr old grandson uses it as a chair and kitchen ladder. Multi-useful for years to come
Read Morewas great just what i wanted.. work out in our cabin.. matchs kitchen table cherry
Read MoreAlthough the chair looked good, we were unable to assemble it correctly because the pre-drilled holes did not match up. It was extremely hard to get an eight month old baby in because of the front crossbar. The plastic tray was damaged when it arrived, but we did get another promptly before we found there were other problems.
Read MoreCouldn't use the buckles and our toddler would get out of it in 1 min. It needs improvements.
