- Remove from packaging within 72 hours of receipt to maximize memory foam expansion.
- This product arrives very tightly packed. Unwrap and allow 48 hours for this product to return to its original shape.
- Being sealed in plastic packaging sometimes traps odors. After unwrapping, allow product to air for a few hours.
- Due to machine-cutting manufacturing processes, there may be slight variances in the dimensions of this product.

Loving this item!! Writing a review on a mattress topper is tricky because it is so subjective, so having said this...let me say that this is my second one I purchased. The first one was well made, but just way to soft for my comfort. This one is the firm model and this topper is also quality made. It arrived quickly and was easy to put on to my bed. There wasn't any noticeable odor and it quickly took its shape from being rolled up tightly into a box. My first nights sleep was a huge improvement from the soft one I had been using. I prefer a more firm sleeping surface and this one was much closer to "firm" than my first one. I wouldn't classify this as "firm" when compared to a mattress labeled "firm", this just is less "squishy" than my previous topper. Overall, I am very pleased that I purchased this and feel that for the price, it was a great value.

Firm? Don't you believe it! I wanted a topper for my coil spring mattress like the mattress on my sofabed, a couple inches of support foam, under a couple inches of FIRM gel memory foam. But sofa beds are shorter than regular full-size beds. So, not finding a covered two-layer topper that fully covers 54 x 75, I planned to cut down the Queen. Instead, I returned it. It's advertised as FIRM, but doesn't even weigh up to the 3 lbs. stated in the specs (was actually about 2.3, based on weighing it at UPS without the box). And by my calculation (weight to depress 50 s.i. to 75%), I figure actual ILD at 11 lbs. As advertised, the Queen firm should weigh about 24 lbs. Instead it weighed 18.3. So if this is firm, I'd hate to see "cushy"!!! Actual queen dimensions were 3" x 58.75 x 78.5 ... smaller than stated, but I took that into account. All of which explains why when I lied down on the topper, I felt like I was in a mold. As I even just began to sit up, my fanny bottomed out and felt the mattress underneath. If I pressed this topper between my palms, the heels of my hands touch – almost completely compressed. The box said it was correct the Firm version, but did someone put a soft topper in a firm box? Great Offer Stock was very understanding, but nobody could tell for sure. With the help of a friend and a vacuum cleaner, I compressed and wrapped it with shrinkwrap, sent it back and moved on.

I bought a firm topper for my rv mattress because I needed more support. My back is "the princess and the pea" and it doesn't feel firm at all to me. I guess you need to take into account how soft you want it. I like a firm but soft- support for my back but soft enough that I don't have "pinch points" in my back which make it hard to sleep.
